PublicSchools.ca is a directory of Canadian public schools and school boards. The information on this site is compiled from publicly available sources and is provided for general reference only. School data is sourced from provincial ministries, school boards, and other public records.

By using this site you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully. Do not submit false information, spam, harassment, or content that infringes on the rights of others.

We may update or remove content at any time. User-submitted content such as comments, edits, and teacher pages is reviewed before publication.

2. Accounts

You may create an account to save schools, comment, and request teacher verification. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. We store passwords using a strong one-way hash and never reveal them to staff or third parties.

Teacher verification requires proof that you are affiliated with the school you claim. We review verification requests before approval.

3. Privacy

We collect only the information needed to operate the directory and user accounts. This includes email addresses, display names, saved schools, and submitted comments or edits.

We do not sell personal information. We use analytics (Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand site usage. These services may set cookies or collect anonymized traffic data.

Comments and replies are stored with the content you submit and may include approximate location data (country/region/city) and IP address for moderation purposes.

4. Disclosures

PublicSchools.ca does not currently display paid advertisements, affiliate links, or sponsored content. If we add affiliate links or partner programs in the future, this page will be updated and a clear disclosure will be shown wherever such links appear.

5. Limitations

Directory data may be incomplete or out of date. Always confirm school information directly with the school or school board. We are not liable for decisions made based on information found on this site.
