PublicSchools.ca is an independent directory of Canadian public schools and school boards. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government agency, school board, or school. The information on this site is compiled from publicly available sources and is provided for general reference only. School data is sourced from provincial ministries, school boards, and other public records.
By using this site you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully. Do not submit false information, spam, harassment, or content that infringes on the rights of others.
We may update or remove content at any time. User-submitted content such as comments, edits, saved schools, and teacher pages is reviewed before publication.
2. Accounts
You may create an account to save schools, leave reviews, and request teacher verification. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. We store passwords using a strong one-way hash and never reveal them to staff or third parties.
Teacher verification requires proof that you are affiliated with the school you claim. We review verification requests before approval.
3. Advertising Disclosure
We display advertisements through Mediavine. Mediavine and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites, and to measure ad performance.

4. Affiliate Disclosure
Some pages contain affiliate links, including real-estate listings (for example, Realtor.ca and Zolo.ca) and back-to-school supply recommendations. PublicSchools.ca is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program (amazon.ca) and possibly other affiliate programs. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. 5. User-Generated Content Policy
By submitting reviews, comments, edits, photos, or teacher-verification requests, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content on the site. You are responsible for ensuring your submissions are accurate and do not violate the rights of others.
We do not allow content that is abusive, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, spam, or that promotes illegal activity. We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Children's Privacy & COPPA
PublicSchools.ca is intended for parents, guardians, educators, and adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. EU, UK and Switzerland Consent
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we obtain consent before placing advertising or analytics cookies. You can manage or withdraw consent through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
8. Privacy Policy
Our full Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use cookies and tracking technologies, and how we share data with service providers such as Cloudflare, Google, Mediavine, and email delivery services.
9. Disclosures
Directory data may be incomplete or out of date. Always confirm school information directly with the school or school board. We are not liable for decisions made based on information found on this site.
